Health Alliance: "strongly advantageous for our community"
From Left, Nelson Bays PHO chief executive Andrew Swanson-Dobbs, Golden Bay Communith Health Te Hauora O Mohua Trust chair Chris Hill and Nelson Marlborough DHB chief executive John Peters putting their signatures to the alliance among their organisations last Monday.
Chris Hill explained: "The Trust is very pleased to have entered into this alliance with the NBPHO and NMDHB. Each of these parties have quited different purposes, the Trust's being to own the bricks and mortar, but there are advantages for each of us in taking a collaborative approach. The document reflects the commitment between the three groups and will ensure that the risks and rewards are shared and that there is a cooperative not competitive approach. We consider this to be strongly advantageous for our community and that this demonstrates the long-term involvement of each party."
