- Cheaper - by $1.25 to $2.9 million.Total cost about $6.3 million.
- Easier for consents and roading changes.
- Quicker to get started and quicker to finish.
- The site plan and building design has been done locally, with staff & management
input so that:
- Building is currently planned to be 30% - 40% larger than the three current operations.
- Better GP facilities for patients and staff.
- Rest home rooms larger and all with ensuites.
- Hospital has on-site doctors and more effective nursing support.
