AFTER HOURS SERVICE

After hours contacts service is accessed by dialing (03) 525 0060. Your call will be answered by a triage nursing service who will assess your needs, provide advice and contact the duty doctor on your behalf if needed.

Summer Holiday Hours

Open on Sunday from 17th December to 4th February, 10am to 1pm, including Public Holidays.

Use of Surveillance Cameras at GBCH

Statement of Use (Feb 2024)

  • GBCH has security cameras in place for the purpose of:

    • allowing a quick response to situations where there may be a breach of security and

    • actively detering a breach of security or an act of crime through the display of ‘survvellance cameras in use signage’.

  • We disclose the use of surveillance cameras through signage displayed in entrance ways, in public places and in the specific internal sites where cameras are positioned.

  • The footage will be used for the purpose already stated. In the event of a suspected breach of security or a suspected crime, any relevant information may be passed onto police.

  • The camera surveillance operates 24/7

  • The images are kept for 3-4 weeks.

  • The system deletes the images automatically after 3-4 time

  • Any complaints regarding the use of security cameras at GBCH can be directed to the general manager.

  • Staff, in their orientation, will be trained in the location and purpose of surveillance camera’s at GBCH

  • A copy of the ‘surveillance statement’ will be kept at the front reception desk should any member of the public wish to see it

  • The ‘surveillance statement’ will be disclosed on our website

  • Images are kept safe by only authorised personal having access to the footage. that is the GBCH general manager and the property and facility manager.

  • Any individual who is the subject of a situations where there may be a breach of security or a supected crime has a right to access a copy of any footage in question.
