- fix service gaps and meet future community health needs
- Existing 4 GPs and medical centre staff employed or contracted by NBPH from 1 April.
A 5th doctor will also be employed. Staff at hospital and rest home will transfer later and discussions will begin in earnest upon the decision to progress to integration.
- No wage cuts: All staff transfer at current pay and conditions. Business plan assumes adjustments for costs and revenue over time.
- Staffing levels are still being decided, with staff input. Integrated business plan model shows 4.3 fewer staff needed than current total, but a slightly different mix and with some efficiencies over time.
